About

TAG’s Private Coaching

Designed to educate, challenge, and inspire actors as they develop the skills needed to pursue professional opportunities in commercials, television, and feature films.

Students work privately with an industry professional for one hour each week, building their craft through practical training, audition preparation, assigned material, and personalized feedback. In addition to acting technique, students receive guidance on branding, professional preparation, and other industry tools that can help them better understand and navigate an acting career.

What Students Will Learn

Training includes:

  • On-camera audition technique
  • Script and character analysis
  • Commercial, television, and feature-film audition sides
  • Improvisation
  • Warm-up exercises
  • Character development
  • Imagination and sense-memory techniques
  • Memorization and preparation strategies
  • Making adjustments after direction
  • Building confidence and comfort in front of the camera

Each week, students receive audition material to prepare for their next session. Material may include commercial copy, television scenes, or feature-film sides. During the  session, students perform the material, receive feedback, and have an opportunity to make adjustments.

Scheduling

Your coach will contact you each week to arrange a day and time that works with your current schedule. If an audition, emergency, or scheduling conflict comes up, your session can be rescheduled.

Pricing

Choose one private two-hour session for $300, or eight weekly private one-hour sessions for $1,500.

Practice material is included with both options.
